At DaniHands, we offer post-op lymphatic drainage, and body contouring, available at our spa or through our convenient mobile service at your home, hotel, or recovery location. Individual sessions and packages are available.

Post-Op Lymphatic Drainage is specifically adapted for clients recovering from cosmetic or surgical procedures. The technique, pressure, and treatment approach are adjusted according to the procedure, stage of recovery, and the surgeon’s instructions. The goal is to support the body's natural drainage process and help manage post-surgical swelling and fluid accumulation.

For post-op clients, we recommend beginning sessions once your surgeon or medical team has cleared you, which may be as early as the day after surgery following your post-op evaluation. When appropriate and medically authorized, early sessions may work with existing surgical drainage openings—we do not create new incisions or openings.

Every recovery is different, which is why we personalize your sessions and recommend a treatment plan or package based on your procedure, healing progress, and individual needs.

1. When should I start lymphatic drainage after surgery?

We generally recommend beginning as soon as your surgeon or medical team clears you, which may be as early as the day after surgery following your post-op evaluation. The appropriate starting time depends on your procedure and your surgeon’s instructions.

2. What is the difference between regular lymphatic drainage and post-op lymphatic drainage?

Regular lymphatic drainage is a gentle treatment that supports the natural movement of lymphatic fluid and may help with temporary swelling and fluid retention. Post-op lymphatic drainage is specifically adapted for clients recovering from surgery, with the technique and treatment areas adjusted according to the procedure, stage of recovery, and surgeon’s instructions.

3. How many post-op lymphatic drainage sessions will I need?

Every recovery is different. The number and frequency of sessions depend on your type of surgery, amount of swelling or fluid retention, stage of healing, and your surgeon’s recommendations. After evaluating your needs, we can recommend an appropriate treatment plan or package.

4. What types of surgeries do you provide post-op care for?

We commonly work with clients recovering from cosmetic procedures such as liposuction, Lipo 360, tummy tuck, BBL, breast procedures, and other body-contouring surgeries. Please let us know what procedure you had and when it was performed so we can recommend the appropriate session.

5. Do you offer mobile post-op lymphatic drainage?

Yes. DaniHands offers post-op lymphatic drainage at our Miami spa and through our mobile service. Our therapist can travel to your home, hotel, Airbnb, or recovery location, subject to location and therapist availability.

6. Do you offer post-op packages and body contouring?

Yes. We offer individual sessions and post-op packages based on your recovery needs. We also provide body-contouring treatments that may be incorporated at an appropriate stage of recovery. The timing and type of treatment will depend on how you are healing and any instructions from your surgeon.
